I am sixty one years old and live in St-Castor-D'Abitibi, which is about 133 km North of Montreal. I originated from Montreal but have been working up here for about seven years.
I am a man of science. I work for the Quebec Beaver Insemination Association. We are involved in the artificial insemination of rogue beavers who as you may know, cause much damage to our northern roads with their dammed dams. The QBIA has developped a new breed of beavers by crossing the native Quebec beaver (Bucktooteus Longontootea) with a Wapiti. The latter being the laziest of animals, this new breed of beavers spend most of their time eating and sleeping so less damage is caused as a result. I spend much time out in the field cooing the rodents which is not easy as they are quite particular about who they frequent.
